40 Years. One Contractor. Every Phase.

Interior Demolition, Inc. is a licensed Southern California contractor built for commercial, municipal, public-works, and contractor-led projects where demolition, abatement, earthwork, crushing, documentation, and cleanup must move together.

Established 1983

Built for difficult work, tight sites, and regulated projects.

Since 1983, IDI has removed what needs to come down and prepared what needs to be built next for owners, agencies, general contractors, developers, and emergency-response clients across Southern California.

IDI self-performs the core scopes that often require multiple subcontractors: interior and exterior demolition, asbestos and lead abatement, hazardous materials handling, excavation, grading, compaction, concrete and asphalt crushing, stormwater BMPs, and disaster debris cleanup. Based in Santa Clarita, the company brings owned equipment, experienced field crews, and practical jobsite documentation to each project.

What IDI Does

One contractor for demolition, abatement, earthwork, recycling, and cleanup.

Most demolition projects force owners and GCs to coordinate separate demolition, abatement, earthwork, hauling, and recycling vendors. IDI reduces that handoff risk by bringing the major field scopes under one accountable Southern California contractor.

Interior & Exterior Demolition

Selective interior strip-outs, structural removal, site clearing, debris management, and phased demolition for occupied or active job sites.

Asbestos, Lead & Hazmat

Regulated material identification, containment planning, removal support, disposal coordination, air monitoring support, and project documentation.

Earthwork & Site Prep

Excavation, grading, compaction, utility trenching, soil handling, and stormwater controls to prepare sites for construction.

Concrete & Asphalt Crushing

On-site processing of concrete and asphalt rubble into reusable aggregate to reduce disposal, trucking, and import costs.

Erosion Control

Supply and installation of straw wattles, fiber rolls, inlet protection, and jobsite BMP maintenance for stormwater compliance.

Disaster & Debris Cleanup

Storm, fire, flood, and emergency debris removal with equipment, trucking, sorting, and restoration-minded cleanup services.

Public Works & Recovery
Public-Agency Experience

Verified on-call cleanup and demolition work.

IDI's public-sector experience includes a Los Angeles County on-call cleanup and demolition award serving all five supervisorial districts, along with City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering on-call demolition work. Those public records support what owners and GCs need to know: IDI can handle regulated, document-heavy scopes under agency oversight.

For environmentally sensitive work, IDI focuses on sequencing, permit compliance, debris control, recycling documentation, and clean handoff so the site is ready for restoration, redevelopment, or the next trade.
